Fibertex South Africa (Pty) Ltd was established in South Africa in 2010, specialising in the manufacture and sales of needlepunch products. The state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, located in Hammarsdale, near Durban in KwaZulu-Natal, is the largest plant in Africa that manufactures geotextiles from virgin Polypropylene. Fibertex UV stabilised virgin PP geotextiles are the only nonwoven geotextiles produced in Africa with certification for durability of over 100 years, in accordance with the latest EN standards.
