Fibertex Nonwovens announces price increase and surcharges due to soaring input costs
Raw materials have soared steeply during the recent months. In addition, energy and transportation costs in Europe continue to increase and have reached an extraordinary high level. This is all further intensified by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Fibertex Nonwovens can no longer absorb the full extent of these unprecedented increases and will implement price increases, as well as relevant surcharges, on its products with immediate effect. The combined effect of increases and surcharges will range between 15% to 25% depending on product category and geographical region.
The surcharges will be effective on all orders shipped on or after April 4, 2022 and applies to both contract and non-contract customers. Fibertex will regularly review the surcharges at a global business level, in order to ensure that they are adjusted to real-time movements on a monthly basis.
